HOW IT WORKS
1. Session Selection
Each month, WHS selects a high-impact research paper, clinical trial, or review article relevant to headache and migraine medicine. Topics are chosen to reflect emerging trends and critical advancements in the field.
2. Pre-Session Preparation
Participants receive the selected article and discussion prompts in advance to allow for thorough review and preparation. Key takeaways and questions are highlighted to guide the discussion.
3. Interactive Sessions
- Format: Sessions are conducted virtually to ensure global accessibility.
- Moderation: A WHS faculty member or an expert in headache medicine moderates the session, ensuring meaningful dialogue and diverse perspectives.
- Participation: Attendees share insights, ask questions, and engage in collaborative discussions to deepen understanding of the study's findings and clinical implications.
4. Global Engagement
Open to WHS members and non-members, the Journal Club provides a unique opportunity to connect with a diverse international community of headache specialists, researchers, and students.
5. Post-Session Follow-Up
Participants receive session highlights, expert summaries, and actionable insights to implement in their clinical or research work.
