OVERVIEW
The Fellowship in Interventional Oro-Facial Pain (FIOFP) is a 6-month advanced training program designed for neurologists, pain specialists, dentists, maxillofacial surgeons, and allied professionals interested in mastering the diagnosis and interventional management of complex oro-facial pain syndromes.
This fellowship integrates clinical expertise, neuroanatomical precision, and procedural skills to equip fellows with the competence to evaluate, diagnose, and treat challenging pain disorders of the face and jaw. Special emphasis is placed on interventional techniques including nerve blocks, trigger point injections, botulinum toxin applications, and image-guided procedures, alongside pharmacological and multidisciplinary strategies.
